Montreal Movers · Serving: J4H · J4J · J4K · J3Y
Every Longueuil move has one variable the island moves do not: the river. Cross at the wrong hour and an easy job loses ninety minutes before a single box is lifted. We pick the crossing, set the departure time and build the day around traffic instead of hoping to beat it.

Quick Summary
Déménagement Dynamic Moving crosses to Longueuil every week, covering Vieux-Longueuil, Saint-Hubert and Greenfield Park. Our warehouse at 8300 Saint-Patrick in LaSalle sits close to the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, which makes us a practical choice for the island-to-South-Shore moves that make up so much of the borough’s traffic. We handle apartments and condos near the métro, detached homes in Saint-Hubert, commercial relocations, packing, and storage for the gap between a July lease and an August possession. Same-day quotes at 514-551-0155.
The Longueuil Advantage
Plenty of companies quote a South Shore job as though the bridge does not exist, then bill you for the hour it cost them. We treat the crossing as part of the plan, because for us it is a weekly route rather than an occasional trip.
Island families moving out to Longueuil, and South Shore households moving back in, are a steady part of our work rather than an exception to it.
Our yard sits near the Champlain approach, and we pick the crossing to suit your sector and your start time rather than defaulting to one route.
A walk-up near the métro, a bungalow in Saint- Hubert or a full house crossing from the island, we schedule it so the river costs you nothing.
We serve every borough of Longueuil and the cities around it, from the riverfront out to the Route 30 corridor.
The historic core
Place Charles-Le Moyne
South of Taschereau
West of the tracks
Toward Victoria Bridge
Along the REM line
North on the 132
Out toward the mountain
Coverage across Longueuil
Three boroughs with three different housing stocks. This is the ground our trucks cover once they are across the water.
Rapid local dispatch
Times below assume we cross outside peak hours, which is exactly why we schedule the
departure rather than leave it to chance.
J4V – J4W / Western edge
The first sectors off the Champlain, and our quickest South Shore run when the bridge is moving.
J4H – J4K / Vieux-Longueuil
Dense streets, walk-ups and condo towers, where parking and elevator access matter more than the drive itself.
J3Y – J4T / Saint-Hubert
Detached homes on wider lots, further out but with straightforward truck access once we arrive.
Getting There
Our warehouse sits at 8300 Saint-Patrick in LaSalle. Crews take Highway 15 across the Champlain Bridge and into Longueuil via Highway 132, a direct South Shore route that keeps travel times consistent and avoids downtown Montreal.

Dimitri and the team at Dynamic Moving are excellent, professional, efficient, personable, and have great skills. Great communication from initial contact to unload. Super job. I was introduced to them as they were at another move in my apartment building and they have a good reputation! They packed my apartment and moved me from Montreal to Toronto. Cost was very reasonable for the fantastic job. They were careful while being quick. All of my goods were handled well, no breakage. They were polite and clean and did a high quality job. Moving can be very stressful but Dynamic Moving was not stressful and helped make my move easier. I would recommend them.Posted on Google![]()

Our Services
Longueuil covers three boroughs and just about every kind of housing, from third-floor walk-ups on Saint-Charles to detached homes off Cousineau. Each service below is set up to work on either side of the river.
Whether the job is one apartment or a whole house crossing from the island, we plan it as a single continuous day. One crew loads, crosses and unloads, so nothing is left overnight in a truck or handed to a second team.
Offices near Place Charles-Le Moyne, retail along Taschereau and units in the Saint-Hubert industrial park. We move outside business hours, cross while the bridges are empty, and have you operational before staff arrive.
A load that crosses a bridge is a load that gets shaken more than one that does not. Our packing is built for the trip, with cartons filled properly, fragile items cushioned on all sides and nothing left loose to shift in transit.
Quebec leases end on 30 June and possession dates rarely cooperate. We hold your belongings in our LaSalle warehouse for the gap, however long it runs, and deliver across the river when the new place is finally yours.
Older Vieux-Longueuil buildings have staircases that predate the furniture going up them. We dismantle what has to come apart, carry it in pieces, and put it back together in the room where it belongs.
Pianos, safes, pool tables and fragile collections get dedicated crews and equipment, plus a load position that keeps them stable for the length of the crossing rather than wedged in wherever there was room.
How it works
Four simple steps from “I think I’m moving” to “we’re all settled in.”
Call us or send a quick request with your home size and dates. We'll give you a clear, no- obligation estimate, fast.
We confirm the details, lock in your date, and tailor a plan around your timeline, access and any special items.
Our crew arrives on time, wraps and protects everything, and loads with care. You watch the stress disappear.
We place everything where it belongs and reassemble your furniture, so your new space is ready to live in.
One geographic fact drives most of it, and two housing realities follow behind.
Bridge traffic can swing a South Shore job by more than an hour in either direction. We build the departure around the peak rather than into it, and choose between the Champlain and the Jacques-Cartier based on where in Longueuil you actually are.
Vieux-Longueuil is dense: three-storey walk-ups, tight stairwells and street parking. Saint-Hubert is detached homes with garages and room to reverse. The same address book covers both, and the crew is briefed for the one you live in.
Lease turnover puts half the province on the road on the same day, and the bridges take the worst of it. We book South Shore jobs early in the season and start at first light, because on that date an extra hour is not recoverable.
Every Longueuil move carries commercial coverage through Intact Assurance, with certificates issued to condo boards and building managers on either side of the river.
WHERE WE MOVE
We are proud locals who know the streets, the parking rules and the walk-ups, so your move goes smoother whether you are around the corner or across the province. Hover any neighbourhood to light it up on the map.

Good to know

The crossing is included in the quote we give you, and that figure does not move afterwards. What matters more is that we schedule around it. A crew that leaves at the wrong hour sits in traffic on your clock, so we set the departure to miss the peak and pick the bridge that suits your borough. That is a planning decision, not a surcharge.
One job, start to finish. A Montreal to Longueuil move is a single local move for us: the same crew loads your old place, crosses the bridge, and unloads at your new home on the South Shore. There is no second booking, no transfer, and no handoff between teams. Because it is billed by the hour, the short drive across the river adds very little, and you get one clear quote covering the whole move, both ends included.
Yes, and we do a lot of July 1 moves, but book early. July 1 is Quebec’s lease-turnover day and the single busiest moving date of the year, so our schedule fills up weeks in advance. Reserve as far ahead as you can, ideally by spring, to lock in your date and the best rate. If your dates are flexible, moving even a day or two off July 1 is easier to book and usually cheaper, and we are happy to walk you through the options.
Yes, the older walk-ups in Vieux-Longueuil are a normal part of our week. Our crews know how to work narrow interior staircases and tight turns, padding the walls and railings and carrying in relay to keep things moving. When a couch, mattress or oversized piece will not make the turn, we hoist it through a window or balcony rather than force it. We also check the street parking and any permit ahead of time, so the crew is never stuck circling the block on your clock.
Tell us both addresses, your dates and the access at each end. We will come back with a clear, honest quote and no hidden fees.
